This policy explains how PULLMAN MOTORS ENGINEERING LTD (“Pullman Motors”, “we”) uses personal data when you visit this website, book your car in or contact us. We are the data controller. Company number 16737518, registered office Railway Arch 115 Randall Road, London, England, SE11 5JR.

What we collect

  • Booking and contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address, vehicle registration, make and model, and any notes.
  • Records of the work we carry out on your vehicle, and invoices.
  • Messages you send us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
  • Basic technical data our hosting provider logs automatically, such as IP address and browser type, for security.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To handle your booking and carry out work on your car – necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract.
  • To reply to your enquiries – our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • To keep accounting and warranty records – our legal obligations and legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have separately agreed.

Who we share it with

  • Our website host and the email provider that sends booking confirmations, acting as our processors.
  • Parts suppliers, only where needed to order parts for your car (usually just the registration).
  • The DVSA, which records MOT results by law.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way – their own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Job and invoice records are kept for six years to meet accounting requirements.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email contact@pullmanmotors.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
